Hmm, I haven't noticed them but if they were conversions I wouldn't have noticed. You can convert just about any car to electric but it takes a BUNCH of batteries and it adds to the stock weight of the car. now if the corrupt didn't buy out patents and bury them we'd have better battery technology right now!

The GM EV1 made almost 15 years ago was a car the size of a Saturn (was built on the Saturn line) and drove at highway speeds and in it's prime got 200 miles/charge. Al Gore and the Liberals could could give a rats ass though. They bury the technology so he can make money TAXING gas/diesel. There is enough Oil to last for YEARS, and using it wont be the end of the Earth either. I just laugh because the corrupt say carbon based vehicles are bad while burying the alternative technologies!

It can only go low speed neighborhood speeds. It's like a gold cart. They need to make a safe highway speed vehicle so it can go over 25 mpg safely. it's as simple as that.

Yeah..what pissed me off was 8 year ago when I worked at SRP the electric company here in Az, they had a fleet of electric cars for meter readers etc.. These thing could go about 240 miles on a charge, they had the car body of a chev. midsize cars & or trucks They looked great they ran great and the people I talk to said they love the way they ran. Chev. would of had to tool up for the production of a fleet of these cars..

hell electic fork lift trucks have been used for years in warehouses. The one I drove was great..It went at least 45mph..and could run all night long....that about 7 hours of start stop driving time.. Yeah..the frickin oil scum...who are greedy just won`t let up..
