Hyrbid is the biggest scam in the world. The Premium price for a Hybrid vs non-hybrid? model doesn't justify its price since you will never amount the difference in gas over its entire life time. Like the Camry LS $ 22,965 or Camry Hybrid $ 27,150 I mean you'll never spend 5K in gas or drive the mileage to get your moneys worth out and thats IF the Hybrid system lasts and replacing expensive batteries + expensive repair costs when its out of warranty. So save the money and trunk room buy the LE.

I've had my 2008 Camry Hybrid for nearly 4 years and it (by far) is the BEST car I've ever owned. ?

so? dumb
By: bahrrt. on 24 Jul 11, 13:53:58
@rajithaify Okay...again, you are posting stuff that is just? ridiculous. GM paid back what they owned. You are soooo disconnected. Since when bailing out companies have ANYTHING to do with being communists? JUST STOP OKAY!
By: bahrrt. on 24 Jul 11, 13:50:48
@rajithaify Uh, yeah...and China is a Communist state. They? have been since Moa. Look it up. And stop posting crap if you don't know what your talking about.
By: rajithaify. on 24 Jul 11, 04:45:51
@bahrrt don't you realize supporting government owned GM is like asking them to take over all privately held free companies which is the same as asking USA to? become a commie state?
By: rajithaify. on 24 Jul 11, 04:42:55
@bahrrt it's not china's fault that they own US debt. was the result of greedy inefficient politicians and i don't agree that they are still commies...far from it if they were still commie how come they? have privately owned companies that produce all kinds of crap that they ship all over the world? true they still have a single party authoritarian government but that's not commie.. communism is all about state run economy.
By: bahrrt. on 24 Jul 11, 00:18:09
@rajithaify Youngblood, you're too young and stupid? to even know the difference between what a true American is and an idiot troll, like yourself, but I digress. Know the difference between right and wrong regarding the issues this country really faces before you step up to the plate. China will be the country that will bankrupt this one because they own a lot of our debt and they are still Communists. Google it. BTW, my last two "crappy GMs" logged over 100K and 200K, miles. Suck it!
By: rajithaify. on 23 Jul 11, 19:06:04
@bahrrt okay then buy urself a crappy Government Motors piece of shit or a FIAT (yeah Chrysler was sold over? to fiat when they went bankrupt) or a maxican built ford. btw china isn't doing anything wrong you dumb. they've wisely abandoned the crappy communist economy nd have turned themselves into true capitalists. when chinks are ditching communism you idiots are preaching dead commie protectionism and still call urself 'a true american'
By: bahrrt. on 23 Jul 11, 15:55:23
@rajithaify this is from someone who apparently drives a Dodge Challenger?? How intelligent. I don't have to live with it, you? hack. I am a 'true American" since I have served, fought, and still serve the American public. Is your idea of capitalism to let every foreign player take over our market instead of what free trade should be? What China is doing to us in the market right now? Call me a commie? Dumb ass.
By: rajithaify. on 23 Jul 11, 07:54:26
@carcrazy25Onx i think they are doing it already in japan.. check the japanese? toyota site..
By: rajithaify. on 23 Jul 11, 07:41:27
@bahrrt that's how? capitalism works. learn to live with it you commie.

@CrashJSTest Boy you really don't know what your talking about. America had the tech in the mid nineties for EV and hybrid and was sold out to corporatist oil barons to cease all production of it simply because it infringed on? their business. Since we couldn't advance in the tech it was sold off to Japan to recoup losses. Ever hear of the Saturn SC EV2. It was doing well and then shut down. That was 1995, my friend. Way before there was ever a Prius, okay.
By: bahrrt. on 21 Jun 11, 15:19:42
@CrashJSTest They've paid them back. Do you think? Toyota would have??
By: bahrrt. on 21 Jun 11, 02:56:22
@CrashJSTest Yeah, you can spend your money anywhere you want. But are you doing it smartly? ? Are you actually helping America buy buying an import? Seriously? May be built here, but not engineered here. Parts are still imported to here. That's the difference. I care about being an American and patriot having served. And I am proud of it. Obviously its too bad many aren't.

@CrashJSTest Wrong. Any profits don't go to pay the workers. It goes to pay the share holders and company interests which involve retooling, restructuring, and paying into pension funds. There is an entire separate account that isn't associated with profits that pay employees for any company. Again, I would rather? put my money in American interests, which includes profits, to that company for it to prosper than a foreign company. BTW the Camry didn't outsell anyone this year.

@ToyotaAvalon2011 Your money you put towards the Japanese car isn't staying here. Guess where it goes. That's right, Japan. You honestly are? telling me that you found some rhetoric where it states that there are more American made parts and workers that make Japanese cars?! Who paid for that content. Please. And @ airknights and MusicGuySK all cars break down eventually. They don't last forever unless they are maintained properly. Any car will last as long as you take care of it.
By: ToyotaAvalon2011. on 16 Jun 11, 02:14:12
@LSchlutt Nissan even borrowed the Hybrid? engine for their Altima from the Camry Hybrid.
By: ToyotaAvalon2011. on 16 Jun 11, 02:14:02
@pulverize2 Nope. Only? the ones built in America had the "recalls".
By: ToyotaAvalon2011. on 16 Jun 11, 02:10:45
@bahrrt Toyota Camry-80% American Parts Content, employs 6k people to build it. Ford Escape-60%, 2k people. Find this? on abdnews.go.com

I love the patriotism talk. Any idea where your money for "American" products will end up anyway? If I'm going? to spend my money, might as well to buy something of quality. A friend of mine just started hating GM cars after his 10th issue in 10 months. Whereas my Toyota Echo, has been issue free (other than regular maintenance and accident repairs for when I was rearended) for 3.5 years. Go Toyota.
By: MusicGuySK. on 25 May 11, 00:05:48
Toyota's cars are the best. Reliability, engine life, warranty, service, etc. I see Toyota cars everywhere more than any other car manufacturers. Plus, Toyota has been making hybrid cars since 1976. They know what they're doing and they mean business. So go? for the Toyota!!!!!#1
By: bahrrt. on 25 Apr 11, 14:41:47
@dushyantx How about loyalty...patriotism...or just being proud to? being an American. I know its difficult to walk into a Walmart and not buy something that wasn't made in china nowadays, but you do have a choice when it comes to a major purchase like a car. You buy a Toyota and the profits don't stay here, my friend. That's unAmerican!
