You can also buy a solar battery charger for? your vehicle, never having to actually connect it to the grid. With solar, your car basically runs for free. This would kill the fossil fuel industry.

@Shoppa360 Stan Meyer had a working prototype: pretty damn good engineering on his part. He was murdered for his trouble. You invent, you die. NO freedom in USA.

This myth that there is 'free enterprise' has always been total shit. There's only been free monopoly.....kontrol by secret societies, big business and corruption at all high levels. AMERICA nor CANADA has entrepreneurial freedom: NO FREEDOM.

In Australia I tried to start an electric car company, but the regualtions to build a car are so prescriptive, it looks like it would be easier for me to import a Chinese car. I know we have to have regulation but look at Henry Ford. We survived and had a revolution, now our industry is being suffocated.

I will see grass, mountains or desert. Near towns more often you'll see crop. The areas have already been cleared for lumber, and they use the cleared land for farm land and you gripe about it? Are you serious? I apologize if that's the case. I jumped in late to your convo on the point of us not having any additional farm land, so I apologize for that, but I do stand by my comment. Couldn't agree more about solar. We need to enhance battery technology and use the sun

How about this. Download Google Earth, zoom in just about anywhere in the middle third of the US and Canada, tell me what you see. Also consider the massive areas of the Amazon that are being cleared to make room for ethanol production. Like I said in the comments here before. Why go through all the trouble of growing ANYTHING to fuel our vehicles when we could have simply use the energy that is falling on our rooftops everyday. It's a retarded idea, literally.
By: bweazel. on 10 Feb 10, 03:34:51
You don't know that. Nor is there any way you could prove that. Please. Stop trying to act like there is not land that could be used. I'll say it again. There is TONS of land. Go download google earth and just look at it all. Go drive 3 miles outside of your town and look at it all. Keep driving you'll see more. Most of our land is currently being used for livestock and grazing and even that is about an acre PER animal. So get real. You're spouting elitist bullshit. You're anti-human.
By: bweazel. on 10 Feb 10, 03:29:47
And you obviously have nothing intelligent to say ;) Guess we're all entitled to our opinions though.

I know hemp would be better than corn ethanol, I didn't say it wasn't. I was saying that there is no way in hell we could grow all of the fuel we need without adding huge areas of farm land to the already growing area needed for food production. Greater efficiency does not mean no space at all will be needed.
By: bweazel. on 10 Feb 10, 02:59:02
Not proven. Hemp is by far a far more efficient source of ethanol than corn. Also, since governments won't allow many nations to grow industrial hemp, you can't back this up at all. It can grow year round in many places, it requires no herbicide, it grows extemely close to one another, it doesn't destroy the soil, its stock is a work of art and can be used to make over 20,000 different products. Cloth, plastics, oil, food, fuel just to name a few broadly. Don't knock it if we haven't tried it
By: bweazel. on 10 Feb 10, 02:55:10
Bullshit. There is plenty of room. Have you noticed any shortages of anything at all at your grocery store, minus the news causing panics and scaring people with weather or war? No. You haven't. If anything over the last decade, you've seen more choices and no seasonal goods. You can get stuff year round. There is still TONS of space to grow food. Your talk is nothing for than elitist overpopulation fearmongering.

They're being sold like hot cakes here. These are not cars, they are bigger golf carts with upholstery and glass. Our clients have been buying these like crazy to take advantage of the tax credits for these things. Like they said, low speed vehicles. You couldn't take these things on any normal rode. Neighborhoods, sure. This is nothing like the EV cars that could go 80mph and take you 120 miles on one charge. They were killed. Ask why THOSE aren't being sold, not these rip off golf carts.
By: Skull666Bones. on 20 Jan 10, 00:25:01
Where is this car being sold in America? I haven't heard or seen any of them.
By: Fallinldols. on 19 Jan 10, 17:39:37
Somebody just murder these fucking people already these preposterous rules that are not for us. Government likes to serve its own interests over anything else never forget that.
By: idontcare80. on 18 Jan 10, 19:06:04
Maybe so, but why bother? EVs can be powered 100% by solar energy. For example: watch?v=_AU3_2IT8k8 If you don't want the watch the whole thing watch from about 1:40 to 2:42.
By: idontcare80. on 18 Jan 10, 18:19:03
No I'm not kidding. There's not even enough room to grow food right now without cutting down more forest area than has already been cut down.
By: idontcare80. on 18 Jan 10, 10:20:01
Growing hemp could solve a good number of problems, but you could never grow enough to fuel even a small percentage of all the vehicles in the world.

He's not the only one who would wish to give up on the Canadian federal government.
